Virtual RCC Day

Residential Construction Career Day looked different this year....

Due to continued public health restrictions, HB & RACC and MassHire partnered to host a "virtual RCC Day"  in an effort to keep our workforce development programs going.  The  focus being on educating High School students interested in career within the residential construction industry.

The event took place via ZOOM on Thursday, April 8 from 9AM until 11AM. The objective was to create an event where the students would have a complete “Worksite Experience”- From Foundation to Landscape.

HBRACC Members spoke to their experience and backstory followed by Q & A from the students.

Special Guest Chris Lambton of "YardCrashers" "Going Yard" and "Bachelor" fame was our Keynote Speaker and spoke to the success of his local landscaping company as well as his accomplishments in the broadcasting and television industry.

Special Thank You to the following members who were so gracious to share their time and expertise with students. Extra special thanks to Erin Cox and Ryan Stanton with KAM Appliance for their "on the site" filming.
