Habitat Cape Cod to Host 8th Annual Ride for Homes on September 14th

Habitat Cape Cod Gears Up for 8th Annual Ride for Homes – September 14
Get ready to ride, walk, or run for a cause! On Sunday, September 14, Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod will host its 8th Annual Ride for Homes, kicking off and wrapping up at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Cape Cod at the Sandwich Marina.
This family-friendly event offers something for everyone—cyclists, runners, and walkers alike. After completing your route, stick around for a well-deserved celebration featuring a lobster roll lunch, live music, lawn games, and the chance to win an unforgettable prize: a weeklong stay in a private four-bedroom Key Largo home with its own pool!
Registration for the Ride for Homes is $95 per person, along with a minimum fundraising commitment of $300. Every dollar raised supports Habitat Cape Cod’s mission of building affordable, energy-efficient homes for local families right here on the Cape.
Since its founding, Habitat Cape Cod has built nearly 200 homes from Bourne to Provincetown and is currently at work in Dennis and Wellfleet, with future projects planned for Yarmouth, Marstons Mills, Falmouth, Brewster, Bourne, Orleans, and North Falmouth. Families who qualify for a Habitat home are selected through a drawing process, then partner with volunteers to help build their own houses—putting in valuable “sweat equity” before purchasing their home with an affordable mortgage. All Habitat Cape Cod homes are deed-restricted to remain affordable for generations to come and have been nationally recognized for their energy efficiency.
To keep this important work going, Habitat Cape Cod relies on the generosity of our community. To ensure your gift stays local, donations can be made online at habitatcapecod.org or by mail to:
