WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
The Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Cape Cod, Inc. (HBRACC) is an autonomous organization duly incorporated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a nonprofit concern.
The Association was formed by a small band of builders in 1950 known as the Cape Cod Builders Association. In 1966 the HBRACC became a Charter member of the National Association of Home Builders (based in Washington, DC) and the Home Builders Association of Massachusetts.
The HBRACC is a volunteer-driven trade association, presently consisting of almost 300 company members. We represent the home building industry: builders and remodelers; suppliers, sub-contractors and other associates. Our members and audience are consumers, educators, advocates, community residents, taxpayers and employers.
What we do is advocate for our industry, assuring home ownership for all on Cape Cod. We are watchdogs and the voice of the industry. We deliver education and training to our members and the general public. We provide networking opportunities and support charities and scholarships. We support and build our communities in which we live and play and raise our families.
The Association’s main sources of funds are membership dues and special event fundraisers.
